escape wont start

i got the cheapest 2018 escape in the country most likely because it wont start. figured it was the battery so i replaced it and it still didn't start. checked the fuses the battery terminas and it all seemed fine but the car still wont start found a working alternator just to be safe and tried it but stil no luck. anyone have an idea what next to try?

Hmm, that's weird. So it's got a new battery, fuses look good, and even a different alternator, but still nothing? Does it make any noise at all when you try to start it? Maybe a bad starter or ignition issue? Just throwing out ideas here.

honestly, I never understand why people buy broken cars. it's really a frustrating thing to repair

Sorry, that's a tough one!
Have you checked for any trouble codes, even if the check engine light isn't on?
A cheap OBD-II scanner can sometimes pull pending codes that don't trigger the dash light immediately.
If you're not getting any clicks or hums when you try to start it, it could also be the starter relay or the ignition switch itself.

Start looking at the starter motor and its wiring next, could be a bad starter, or a problem with the neutral safety switch, common in automatics, also, sometimes the anti theft system can lock the engine from starting if it's tripped
