Broke the engine plastic

I did something stupid, or at least that's what I like to think. A few days ago I saw a rock on the road and at first glance it seemed small enough to go under the car. Unfortunately that didn't happened and I ended up hitting it. The car continued working fine, driving fine and I didn't gave it much tought. The problem happened when I got back home. The plastic under the engine was destroyed and most of it was gone with only one small piece holding on for dear life. Everything else is fine, so it's not any major damage. With that said, where do I find this plastic and the clips that go with it?

It happens to the best of us, man. You can grab an engine splash shield (or belly pan) and the clips online on RockAuto, eBay, or even Amazon... these sites usually have them cheap. Double-check the specs before you check out though.

You should also be able to find it at your car's dealership parts department.
They'll have the exact part numbers and clips you need.

That 'plastic under the engine' is usually called an engine splash shield or undertray. It's important for protecting everything. You can find replacements and clips on sites like RockAuto or at a dealership. Make sure you get the exact one for your car's make/model/year!

You could heck local junkyards too if you want OEM cheap and the clips are pretty easy to find, search for a pack that matches your car's make and year
