Do I need my VIN if I'm gonna buy an oxygen sensor online? I got a 2019 Ford Escape 2019 SE and not sure whether which one should I get. If you guys have the same make and model and bought an oxygen sensor too please let me know what you got.

Are you going to buy the part online? If yes, then there's no need for the VIN

if you can also remove the part and compare it to the one you're buying, that will be good too

You actually don't need your VIN, but having it can definitely help you make sure you're getting the correct oxygen sensor. For your 2019 Escape SE with the 1.5L engine, common part numbers to look for are F1FZ-9G444-G for the downstream sensor and E1GZ-9F472-B for the upstream one. If you're considering an aftermarket option, the NTK 22146 is a solid choice for the downstream sensor
