Problem with engine overheating

My wife has a 2023 ford escape, she's been complaining about this since last month but I just have time to check it.

Here we go; when the idling 1.5L, the fans aren't on, and ofc the engine is overheating. When I turn the heater down, the temp is back to normal, it means there's a flow, right?

So, I don't think it's the thermostat or waterpump, tell me what should I check guys!

Everywhere within the coolant. Or to be sure, you can have it scanned.

Try to jump the fan directly and test if it works!! This is the only way I can think of to rule out the fan motor. But yeah I heard other Escapes have this issue too, so might be worth dropping by the dealer to talk about it and let them know it's still happening.

For something involving the engine, I always make sure I bring it to the dealer right away. Do you have an OBD scanner? Would be better if you do that first so you'll have some sorta reference.

Just checking in to see if you ever got this sorted. A few 2023 Escape owners have reported overheating tied to fan control issues or debris in the coolant system. If you haven't already, it might be worth flushing the coolant and checking the cylinder head temp sensor. Did the dealer offer any insight or run a scan to confirm what's going on?
