It's annoying that my 2019 Escape remote start isn't working in cold climates. So in the morning, when the sun's up, I get to enjoy it easily without any problems. At night tho, when it's cold, I can't get it to work! I told the dealer about it and they just shrug it off.

Good to know I'm not the only one with this issue. I've always thought it was normal, now I have hope to know otherwise lol.

Did you check the battery already? It might be weak since cold climate kinda wears a battery out. Probably cancels the remote start.

It seems like the temperature cutoff of the system is activating, sometimes, the factory remote starts won't work if it's too cold. I had a similar issue with my car. You might want to check your climate settings in the menu and consider asking the dealer to update the BCM software when you get a chance

Yeah remote start can struggle in cold temps if the engine or battery's too cold, i guess its freezing inside lol. Try updating your key fob or its software. If it keeps acting up, push your dealer or try another one for help.
