Stuck Ignition key on 2017 Ford Escape

Went out to start my car this morning and the ignition key just wouldn't turn, it was completely stuck in the lock position, the steering wheel wasn't locked up, and I've tried jiggling the wheel/key combo every way I know how.
Anyone have ideas, help me out please

If the steering wheel isn't locked, it could be a worn key, dirty ignition cylinder, or even a low battery causing the issue. Try using a spare key if you have one, and gently wiggle the key while applying light pressure. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I'd also guess a worn-out key.
Maybe try using a spare key if you have one?
If that works, it's a good sign the original key is the issue.
If not, it could be a problem with the ignition cylinder itself, which might need to be replaced
But, hopefully it's just the key!

That's frustrating! Aside from ruling out if it's a worn-out key, have you checked if your car is in park all the way? I know it might sound too simple and silly, but if it's not fully engaged, it can lock out the ignition. Try moving the shifter around a bit and then putting it firmly back in P. If neither of those works, I have to agree with @ultim8escape that the ignition cylinder itself has failed.
