Where lies the air bag sensors

Alright, so weird question but does anyone know where the front airbag sensors are on a 2018 escape? I was poking around under the hood the other day (don't ask, it involved a dropped wrench and some colorful language ) and started wondering exactly where those little guys are tucked away. I'm guessing near the bumper somewhere, but I don't want to go yanking panels off if I don't have to. If anyone's had to replace one or just happens to know, I'd appreciate the heads-up! dont wanna turn this into a bigger project than it needs to be.

Yes, that's right. The parts you are looking for are just behind the bumper, near the frame rails on both sides. Before you start taking off any panels, it's a good idea to check for any error codes if the SRS light is on. This might save you some effort and time. What problem are you trying to fix with it?

Yeah you're right. Don't forget disconnecting the battery is a must if you're working near them! Just to be safe.

just wanna say that the front airbag impact sensors on a 2018 Escape are usually located on the radiator support or front frame horns, positioned to get an accurate reading during a collision. They're usually bolted directly to the metal structure
