why am I getting key fob error?

Anyone else experienced this too? it says key fob not detected. This usually happens when I close the door too hard, kind of intermittent but still annoys the hell out of me. any help will be appreciated

Have you checked the battery? It can be either loose or weak. I've had the same problem and replaced the battery, after that everything was okay.

it also depends where the fob is at, things like smartphones can obstruct it and your car will lose its signal

Could be a signal issue. but you can try to check with a spare key fob if it's still happening

I think it's pretty common. Technology isn't unfailing you know. That comes at the cost of convenience from not having to use the key to turn every time.
