helping my niece with her first car a 2017 escape 1.5 found out the front turn signals and fog lights dont work dug into it and theres no wiring harness at all looks like it had a front end hit and got patched up with zip ties and string found an unplugged connector but no idea what goes there anyone know what harnesses i need or where they plug in

it looks like u will need a harness which is around $400-500.. maybe the nearest Ford to u dealer has the part.
 
For starter you can check the manual for the wiring instructions, its really tricky and such a hassle.. my best move for this is to go visit the local dealer and have it checked, then maybe drop an update here for some diy tips and suggestions. good luck
 
What a hassle! for the missing signal light wires, send a message to a Ford dealership with your car's identification number. they should have the diagrams that you may need>.The loose plug must be a sign. let us know how it goes
 
Wow, it seems like that Escape has really been through it! If the harness is completely gone, you're likely gonna need a new front lighting harness, checking with Ford or a salvage yard might be your best option. That unplugged connector could be for the fog lights or turn signals, depending on its location. A wiring diagram would be super helpful in this case.
